The first one is ads. And that’s the only one most business owners can name. And that’s a crying shame!
Because guess what?
There’s 2 MORE. Both are lethally efficient and highly successful at making your business more money. AND… are better than ads!
Here’s why that is and how you can use both methods to get money in!
The sole reason ads are not the best is because you have to test the copy, images, headlines, and audiences all one by one.
And that requires a financial investment. But also a HUGE time investment. So, if you want quick cash, it’s not optimal.
Another problem:
The reason you run ads is to get new customers to your business. And like my marketing professor always used to say:
‘The cost of acquiring a customer is quite high.'
Fancy words for ‘they cost you a ton of money’!
And that’s the absolute truth.
These people do not trust you. And in order to sell, you need to gain their trust. That takes a bunch of ads to pull off.
Again, the same 2 problems. Too much time. And too much money. And that’s why…
I’m giving you 2 simple (AND FREE) methods to grow your business FAST!
Both have one thing in common: selling to people you’ve already sold to.
Why? It’s stupidly easy to sell to them.
Why? They know you’re a real person. They know you’re competent. And they’ve had a good previous experience with you. And that’s all you need!
Now let’s talk about the 2 methods:
Increasing the transaction size
Aka, charge MORE MONEY. How? Understand this…
The more value you provide, the more you get paid.
Meaning, if you want your client to pay you more, you either need to solve a more pressing problem or solve more problems.
That’s where packages/special offers come in. An example:
Let’s say you’re a plumber. Someone calls you up because their toilet is clogged. Normal plumbers just accept that request. And fix the problem. Noble. But you’re missing out on money.
Instead, you should present him with a package:
'Okay, we can fix that. But we’re full. For an extra 100€, we can come by tonight. And fix it within 20 minutes. Or you wait a few more weeks. ‘
That’s the speed special offer.
Another one:
‘Okay, we can fix that. We’ll come by on Thursday! We’ll also check your sewer for free. Usually when the toilet is clogged, people experience issues with their sink. It’s an additional 50 bucks. And we’ll come tomorrow. Works for you?
By now, you should understand how it works. So, let’s move on to two!
Selling more often
And for this, you need a lead magnet. Which is a free piece of info - usually an ebook - you give to potential customers that helps them solve a problem they have. In exchange for their email.
The benefit? Making more money has just gotten ten times easier. Why?
Because YOU HAVE THEIR EMAIL! And you can then send them emails for years on end.
Do that right (by focusing on providing value and occasionally selling), and you’re golden.
